Water proofing of surfaces of civil structures, embedded structures, foundation slabs, basements, piles, reservoirs, etc., structural members of bridges and water engineering structures, pipelines, interior rooms of buildings and structures, rust protection of metal structures. There are two types of mastics - water-based (BRIT Insulation V) and solvent-based (BRIT Insulation R).
Advantages
High strength of adhesion with the base.
Fire and toxic safety.
Can be applied to a vertical surface.
High elasticity of the set coating.
Can be applied under negative temperatures, BRIT-INSULATION R mastic may be used at temperatures as low as -20°С.
Composition:
Oil bitumen, organic solvent (toluene)
Application Technology BRIT Insulation V
Clean the surface from dust, dirt, grease, and prime, use this mastic diluted with water at a 1-1 ratio or use a bitumen emulsion-based primer. Thoroughly stir the BRIT-INSULATION mastic and apply it on a primed surface using a brush or a paddle roller. Can be applied to a moist base.
Let the primer dry up for 5-10 hours before subsequent works.
If necessary, apply the mastic again.
